About Cimarrone Country Club (Jacksonville, FL)
Known as "The Wild One," Cimarrone weaves its way around 17 lakes, creating a series of beautiful scenic views while challenging your game. The David Postlethwait design features rolling fairways, contoured greens, and five sets of elevated tees. Always meticulously maintained, this dynamic layout will provide a memorable, demanding, and enjoyable day of golf. Cimarrone also features a terrific clubhouse with a stocked pro shop and a popular restaurant. The course is an easy 15-minute drive south of Baymeadows, just minutes off I-95.

only got 14 holes in because of late tee time due to our flight into the jac airport. good choice because it was on our way to Hammock Beach Resort.

The greens were in very poor condition. I know the unusually cold weather played a part, but the other courses greens were not that bad. I feel that the management could have made us aware of the conditions and possibly giving us the chance to play a different course.

Overall this course was great. It was recovering from aeration and probably about 90% which is playable and not having a major impact on putting. We had to make an adjustment to our tee time once we arrived to Jacksonville and the staff was very accomodating. It' a challenging course and a must play for the mid to low handicap golfers. 15+ you may want to stay away, a lot of water.

Course was in the best shape I have seen in in years. Greens were a little spotty and that is too bad since the rest of the course was in such great shape. Would still recommend playing such a great layout.

Challenging course, greens are small and sometimes slope away from your approach shots. Mounding in rough is extreme and gives interesting lies. Water is on every hole and definitely comes into play, not just for show.
