About Kings Ridge Golf Club (Clermont, FL)
According to the designers, Kings Ridge South is a "thinker's course" where players must take the opportunity to use every club in the bag. It capitalizes on Lake County's naturally rolling terrain, with elevation differences that offer dramatic views of the beautiful countryside. One of Lake County's best kept secrets, King's Ridge is an 18-hole beauty by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton. Always in great shape with excellent playing conditions, the course features mostly large greens, numerous severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards that keep you focused on the task at hand... scoring well! Water is found on just one hole, the 156-yard par-3 fourth. Located on US Highway 27 in Clermont, the course is easily reached from Kissimmee and other Orlando areas. The 3600-yard North Course, an executive-style 18-hole course, was added in 2002.

Great course, were greeted at the gate by a friendly gentleman that told us exactly where to go, and who to ask for. Once we got to the club house, we were given the go ahead to head out whenever we wanted, no rush. practice facility was nice. Course played well, a little dried out on some holes, but overall the course was great. Offered some great views from the tee's and played well for being in the middle of a golf community. 8/10

The woman starter who was from Massachusetts was extremely pleasant and welcoming. It was surprising to see no beverage cart. We had one club member question us when we started on the 10th hole. This person had not been playing behind or in front of us but gave us grief for being on the tee. We were following the group that had been playing in front of us on the front nine.
