About Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club (Celebration, FL)
Mystic Dunes was designed by PGA Tour Professional and NBC golf analyst Gary Koch, and opened Fall of 2001. As a par 71, 7012-yard course, Mystic Dunes' layout is truly unique to Orlando. The "low-country" front nine weaves its way through majestic oaks and pine trees, similar to those courses in the Carolinas, meandering through marsh and wetlands. From the links-style back nine (water found only on holes 10 and 11) with its rolling fairways, bump-and-run shots around the greens and quick putting surfaces, golfers feel reminiscent of the courses of the British Isles. The course challenges golfers to play it smart off the tee, deliver solid iron shots into the greens, and putt on always-consistent greens. Their expansive driving range and attractive clubhouse, restaurant/ bar rounds out the entire "Mystic Dunes Experience."
Added values: complimentary range balls, ParView GPS, 20% off all pro shop merchandise. FREE REPLAYS 9/01-12/31/11 and 5/01/12-12/31/12

Keith (Saint Louis, MO) says:
Fast greens and great pace of play. There are many blind shots to the greens.

Best course we played.

Michael (Ashburn, VA) says:
This was the best course of the weekend. Tees, fairways and greens were in great shape. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and even let our group of 6 play 3 and 3, which no other course let us do. The only bad thing about this day was it rained and we came in after 14 holes. I hope to go back and finish the round someday.

J Chris (Sandown, NH) says:
Tight course many blind shots greens don't hold making for slow play.

Mark (Broadview Heights, OH) says:
Tough course...lots of target shots required and some tricky greens. The starter was by far the best of any golf course we played. Lots of sand and some funky greens that have severe undulations...most of our players played much worse than average on this course.

Matt (Pleasant Hill, CA) says:
A little gimmicky, but a pretty good course.

Poor design.............we could reach the par 5 s in 2, but struggled to reach some of the par 4s in 2............ handicaps 0.5, 2.1 and 4.5 We were also not allowed to play from the back tees

Fun course. Lot's of elevation changes, something you don't expect with a Florida course.

Stephen (Erie, PA) says:
difficulty level was high for our levelof play

John (Akron, OH) says:
This was the first time I played the course, plus the weather was cool and windy. And given that many of the landing areas were hidden from the tee and that most of the greens had severe contouring, my golf experience there was not great. I suspect if I was to play it again under better conditions, my golf experience would be much better. All that being said, I find the overall experience not worth the significant surcharge and would only play the course again, if the majority of our group wanted to do so.

Started us on back nine, not fair for new players on such a difficult course.

Paul (Pleasanton, CA) says:
First class operation, from parking lot to tee. Course is a bit short for big hitters. But, multi-tiered greens balance the challenge. Pay attention to the GPS in cart for best landing area for shots. Some forced carry drives are required. Facilities and personnel are groomed to provide the best experience for you.

Michael (Clive, IA) says:
Would not be my first choice of courses. Facilities and course nice, but felt most of the greens were "tricked up". Luckily it had rained and they were slow or putting often would have been extremely difficult and good shot would not have been rewarded.

Another first time play. This was a great course only 15 minutes from the hotel. Excellent condition.
