This almost 7200-yard David Harman creation opened in 2000 with a slight redesign in 2005 by Tommy Fazio (Tom's nephew) . The visually stunning layout features 18 distinctly different holes, all carved out of the Wekiva River Basin. Surrounded by a variety of hardwood trees and native vegetation, the fairways are gently rolling and weave through an upscale real estate development, where water can be found on 15 holes. Timacuan Golf Club ~ 7.89 miles (Not Driving Distance)
A must-play while in Central Florida, Timacuan is a stunning 6,900-yard championship course located in Lake Mary, 15 minutes north of downtown Orlando. Designed originally by Ron Garl in 1987 and totally renovated with a new look and feel by Bobby Weed in 1996, the course features two very distinct nines. Designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton Golf Design Group, this exciting layout is a favorite amongst local area players and was recently given 3 1/2 stars in Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play." The course offers a beautiful scenic atmosphere including rolling fairways, elevated tees, water on six holes, and no homes. Opened in 1987, this Robert Trent Jones, Sr. masterpiece creates a fair and demanding test of golf for all golfers, despite any handicap. One of Orlando's most solid mainstays, it is considered by Links Magazine to be "the Southeast's finest example of the Master's work." Debary Golf And Country Club ~ 16.33 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Located on Orlando's north side in DeBary, this challenging course was designed by the golf design team of Clifton, Ezell and Clifton and is part of a vibrant semi-private country club community. Most holes are set away from the community by a buffer zone of dense woods and vegetation. The setting is more reminiscent of the Carolinas than Central Florida and The National Audubon Society has certified the course as an official bird sanctuary habitat.
