About Sanctuary Ridge Golf Club (Clermont, FL)
Billed as "Florida's Mountain Course," Sanctuary Ridge is located in Clermont and noted as one of Orlando's most unique courses. This thrilling Terry LaGree design is built on the state's second highest location and features dramatic elevation changes of up to 150 feet, with no parallel fairways... sometimes, it's all uphill - sometimes it's all downhill! You'll enjoy memorable, panoramic views on every hole. Featured are elevated tees, escalating fairways and large, multi-level greens, lots of bunkers - virtually no water coming into play. Easily accessible from all of Orlando's major network of roads, this club is a great choice from any hotel in greater Central Florida... average travel time is approx. 30-35 mins. Rated 3.5 stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play," this track should not be missed. Great value!

This was first course and a favorite. We didn't expect such hilly conditions in Florida. I would have liked this couse a little later in the itinerary since our golf was rusty. We even considered going back on our own later in the trip since it was so affordable, but never found the time. The course conditions were excellent and the clubhouse was beautiful as well. Staff and patrons were extremely friendly. This would be the area where we would consider retiring or investing in a Florida residence.

First timers here. And we all loved it!! Definetly different for FLA. And a great replay rate. A couple of rough spots but the new managment company has only been here since Nov. We are definelty going back and expect even greater things in the future.

Course was fun, very hilly but we are used to that in Pittsburgh. Good value for the $$. Pro shop not well stocked..one guy forgot socks and they had none. Restaurant good. Went out for a replay and had to wait an hour for more carts!

Fun course...very hilly and no level lies. Everyone of group of 20 enjoyed the round. Proshop lacking in merchandise, grille room was good. Did a replay but had to wait a very long time for carts so thus unable to finish another 18. Would play again.
