About Stoneybrook West Golf Club (Winter Garden, FL)
Some of Central Florida's finest greens can be played at Stoneybrook West; the TifEagle greens are legendary for their speed and true rolling surfaces. Designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Hills, Stoneybrook West is now under the ownership by the Celebration Golf Group, and one of the top public championship courses in the west Orlando area. Hills did a masterful job blending the natural landscape of West Orange County; meticulous course grooming, dramatically rolling fairways framed by towering berms and water touching on 14 holes with Black Lake lurking in the background. Upon completion of your golf round, a well-stocked bar and grille compliments boastful panoramic vistas of the course. They didn't receive "#27 Best Golf Course in the Country" by GolfLink.com for nothing! Located just off SR545 in Winter Garden with easy access from the Florida Turnpike and the SR429 extension.

Not only did we love playing Stoneybrook West, we spent the day there. 18 holes in the morning. Lunch in the dining room. 18 holes in the afternoon and a wonderful dinner in the evening. The staff could not have been more accomodating.

This was my least favorite course of the four we played. The conditions and the quality of the holes were just so-so. Also did not like the the design of the greens (too "tricked-up"). I will not play this course again.
