About Falcon's Fire Golf Club (Kissimmee, FL)
Built in 1993, this Rees Jones championship course pays respect to the timeless traditions of the game. $1.5 million was invested in 2010 to create BRAND NEW TifEagle greens in addition to improved bunkering and drainage. Tournament playing conditions and perfect putting surfaces can be expected at all times. New lengths added the summer of 2010 has stretched the layout now to just over 7000 yards. The Back 9 wraps around two large, picturesque lakes - a run of holes 12-18 that challenges even the most skilled players. Former host to such prestigious events as the Senior PGA Tour Qualifying School and the Oldsmobile Scramble National Finals. Golf Shop Operations Magazine has rated the pro shop one of America's "Top 100 Golf Shops" for 5 years. Proudly boasts completely renovated clubhouse and pro shop, all managed by Marriott Golf.

This is a nice facility with nice people. The pace of play was decent for a Sunday and the course conditions were excellent...fully overseeded with good rolling greens. This was a good 1st day warm-up course, but is certainly not the most interesting or challenging layout around.

When we first teed it up, we were partnered with 2 "big" hitters playing from the back tees. We advised these fellows that if they wouldn"t mind we were going back to the starter to pair up with someone of our caliber and so we wouldn"t slow them down. They appreciated this manuver and the starter put us right backout with a single that equal to our playing abilities. Great move by the starter.

This is probably the weakest of the 4 courses we played in terms of layout. It was a good course for our first day of golf because it was not quite as penal. May keep it in our rotation.

A little biased in rating this course as I shot my personal best for a round in Orlando with a 78. Darn 17th hole killed me with a quad bogey though. Otherwise I like the layout and it was a good opening course to start off the week. Practice facility is nice and conveniently located to the first tee.

A real winner. fantastic course, very convenient location. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Pro shop was reasonably priced. Other slower groups were happy to wave us through. Suitable for all handicaps off the approriate tees.
