About The Rookery At Marco (Naples, FL)
This Joe Lee original was completely transformed in 2002 by Robert Cupp, Jr. into a beautiful masterpiece. Situated just east of Marco Island and 15 minutes south of Naples, it is surrounded by 240 unspoiled acres of cypress, pines, and palms, and is a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program. The course features unparalleled playing conditions year round, open and rolling fairways, well-bunkered greens that are large and receptive, and fabulous water features. The complex boasts a stylish, state-of-the-art clubhouse with panoramic views of the course and an immense practice facility that is home to the Faldo Golf School by Marriott.

Not the longest track in the world, but you definately have to place your shots and think your way around. A lot of dog legs and water holes, so you better bring your courage with you, if your not the type to lay-up. Overall the course was in great condition and the greens were awesome...

TOUGH COURSE WHERE YOU MUST PLAY TARGET GOLF. LOTS OF WILDLIFE AND GOOD SIZE GATORS AND THIS COURSE REALLY TESTS YOUR ACCURACY ON ALL SHOTS.

It was the best course we played and the service was fantastic. Even knowing the high green fee price it is worth the experience! the course was in a great condition.

Our tee time was delayed 30 minutes due to Member-Guest Tournament that morning. First hole took long time to play as we had to wait for final group to finish tournament. Otherwise, the course and facilities are outstanding, though somewhat expensive.
