Mystic Dunes Golf Club ~ 0 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Mystic Dunes was designed by PGA Tour Professional and NBC golf analyst Gary Koch, opened in Fall 2001. As a par 71, 7012-yard course, Mystic Dunes' layout is truly unique to Orlando. The "low-country" front nine weaves its way through majestic oaks and pine trees, similar to those courses in the Carolinas, meandering through marsh and wetlands. From the links-style back nine with its rolling fairways, bump-and-run shots around the greens and quick putting surfaces, golfers feel reminiscent of the truly greatest courses of the British Isles. The course challenges golfers to play it smart off ... more info.
Orange Lake Golf Resort - The Legends ~ 3.35 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Opened in 1998 as a tribute to golf legend Arnold Palmer and hotel business legend Kemmons Wilson, Orange Lake's Legends Course has quickly become one of Orlando's most popular courses. Laid out by Palmer Course Design, the course provides two distinct nine-hole layouts. The front side has been named The Links Nine for its open feel, which reminds one of playing the great links of Scotland and Ireland. The back nine, or The Pines, has tight, tree-lined fairways similar to the great American layouts in the Pinehurst area of North Carolina. Combined, the course provides an extremely entertaining... more info.
ChampionsGate Golf Club - National ~ 3.5 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Greg Norman has designed the National as a classic American-style layout that rolls gently through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. The layout's key trait is diversity with wall-to-wall fairway bunkers running up along holes 12 through 16, three double doglegs, a massive double-green shared by the fourth and 16th holes, and a sunken fairway on the seventh. Impeccably maintained, the National boasts a pristine, natural golf experience without bordering homes or developments. Enjoy an incredible 36-hole day with its equally challenging and memorable sister course, The International.... more info.
Highlands Reserve Golf Club ~ 4.49 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Set atop one of the highest areas in the region, Highlands Reserve is not your typical Florida golf course. This championship design by Mike Dasher gives you tree-lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas, open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses, and a bit of old Florida with citrus trees dotting the countryside. Large, fast, undulating greens make this course challenging and fun for all levels of golfers with water coming into play (barely) on just one hole, #10. It's a very sporty course and although it's a tad shorter in length, it can still be a "wee tough" if your ... more info.
Disney's Magnolia ~ 5.62 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Step onto the first tee at Disney's Magnolia and step into the shoes of champions. Home to Saturday and Sunday play for Disney's PGA TOUR event for over 35 years, it's the longest of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort courses. The course cuts a peaceful path through more than 1,500 Magnolia trees and acres of Florida parkland, magnificent wildlife and natural beauty. Spacious greens, generous landing areas, and the world-famous par 3 #6 Mickey Mouse bunker are surrounded by rolling terrain in the classic Florida-style Joe Lee design. Disney's Magnolia delivers an excep... more info.
Providence Golf Club ~ 7.43 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Providence is located in Davenport, an easy 15 minutes west of the Disney/Kissimmee area, serving as a haven of serenity, which provides a refreshing, scenic, and challenging golf getaway. Renowned course architect Mike Dasher designed this new course as a masterpiece, technically challenging and aesthetically pleasing. It will test your game as it winds its way through fresh water creeks, ancient hardwoods, and wetlands; and it's not unusual to catch a glimpse of otter, deer, or wild turkey. Dasher has affection for European style golf courses and it is evident on many of his subtle, undulati... more info.
Grande Pines Golf Club ~ 10.55 miles (Not Driving Distance)
With three designs already on Golfweek's list of '100 Greatest Modern Courses,' renowned architect Steve Smyers has teamed up with player consultant Nick Faldo to create one of Central Florida's most dynamic new courses at Grande Pines, centrally located in the heart of the action on South International Drive. Contoured, gently rolling fairways with numerous ponds and enhanced landscaping are all bordered by tall natural pines, oaks and palms. Numerous undulating greens are elevated and many are well-protected by artfully crafted bunkers... "target-golf" at its best, but recent renovations to ... more info.
