About Grand Cypress Golf Club-South And East (Orlando, FL)
The Grand Cypress Course, comprising the North, South and East nines, offers a variety of physical and mental stimuli and provides a test of accuracy rather than strength and distance. The North and South nines, the original course built in 1984, features terraced fairways, generous landing areas, mounds and platformed greens with yawning bunkers. The East nine, added in 1986, is more generous, with less bunkering, particularly in front of the greens, allowing more run-up shots. Always in perfect playing condition, Grand Cypress provides one of Orlando's best and most memorable golf experiences. Don't forget to dine after golf in the Nine18 Restaurant (20% discount on menu to all Golfpacr's).

Course gets a lot of play. Didn't seem like the staff cared if we were there or not, but nothing negative. Greens were beat up just due to the play. Rolled nice anyway. You could tell the carts had lots of play. Brakes were non-existent. Played in the afternoon, so that could have had something to do with the feel. Also had lunch and the service was slow.

Good combination of holes that wind through the villas. Vary from tree lined to island greens. Conditions were excellent despite recent rain. Greens were slow but smooth. Enough water in play to get your attention.

The South is a good layout & the best nine of the 3. The North may be a better 9 than the East 9 but both are good. The day we played, the South was in better condition than the East
