Crooked Cat is a phenomenal complement to its highly acclaimed sister course, Panther Lake. Both courses host to the 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2010 PGA TOUR Qualifying School Finals, having been awarded 4.5 stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play" every year since 1999. That's no easy accomplishment as there are only 52 courses in Florida with an equal rating, and no course in the state has earned five stars. With an entourage now of newly planted trees, wide-terraced fairways, and native redtop heather grass in the rough, this 7500-yard course is meticulously groomed and features a distinct Scottish "links" flavor - and NO HOMES! Elevation changes amongst rolling terrain are prevalent while wildlife abounds in this natural setting. "Grip it and rip it" ~ golf at its very best!

this complex is in my opinion hands down the best bang for your golfing dollar in this part of the state. conditions are impeccable,layouts are classics for the geographical region in which they are located plus they contain all the amenities that make your day very enjoyable. if there is a weaknest to this location it is with the outside staff they lack a sense of urgency in making sure the customers needs are being attended too in a timley manner.

Played 1/24/07. Really nice course. Extremely crowded around the course on our day of play as demo day was going on as the PGA Merchandise Show was in town. But this crowd did not show on the course as pace of play was very good. Only saw a couple of other groups all day. Good conditions.

WOULD HAVE LIKED THE OPPORTUINITY TO PLAY THE PANTHER COURSE, BUT A LARGE GROUP OCCUPIED THAT ON THE DAY WE WERE THERE. CROOKED CAT WAS A FUN COURSE.

Crooked cat provides a bit more shot making challenges than Panther Lake. Course management is at a premium. As always, the pro shop, lounge, practice facilities are always top notch.

Very good course....excellent condition (except for the bunkers-seems like they took out a lot of the sand so it was kind of hardpacked) and layout. Greens very nice, and not the horror of what I was expecting from Bermuda versus being used to Bent grass greens.
