About Providence Golf Club (Davenport, FL)
Providence is located in Davenport, not far off I-4 and an easy 15-20 minutes west of the Disney/ Kissimmee area. The course serves as a haven of serenity providing a refreshing, scenic, and memorable golf getaway. Opened in 2007, this layout is a true masterpiece, technically challenging and aesthetically pleasing. It will test your game as it winds its way through fresh water creeks, ancient hardwoods, and wetlands; and it's not unusual to catch a glimpse of otter, deer, or wild turkey, particularly on the more natural back nine. Course architect, Mike Dasher, had an affection for European style golf courses and it is evident on many of the track's subtle, undulating greens. Customer service is a priority and the Providence staff is dedicated to making a day at this golf course enjoyable and memorable. In fact, the staff motto is "We work while you play!"

Favorite course this year. Especially love the back 9 with no houses and plenty of wildlife. Highly recommend playing this one. Just hope they don't eventually get out of my price range.

Good starter course, lots of room. Condition were ok but not top notch. Some greens a little patchy and one totally unplayable (8th) which they didn't warn us about. Would play again as a starter.
