Opened in 1998 as a tribute to golf legend Arnold Palmer and hotel business magnate Kemmons Wilson, Orange Lake's Legends has quickly become one of Orlando's most popular courses. Laid out by Palmer Course Design, the course provides two distinct nine-hole layouts. Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club ~ 10.2 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Rated by Golf Digest as the Best New Course in 1994 and one of the Top 50 Courses in Florida by The Florida Golfer in 1999, this Ted McAnlis layout is a truly diverse test of golf. Shot positioning is crucial as water and/or wetlands can be found on 16 holes; however, the fairways had been widened in 2004 to create more fair and forgiving landing areas.
