Course Information
Pelican Bay South Course ~ 5.29 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Five minutes south of Daytona you'll find Lloyd Clifton's Pelican Bay South. Fairways here are well defined -- some tight, others open and rolling with canals and lakes bordering 14 holes. Continuous improvements are made each year with the emphasis on "better conditioning." Combine this with the low surcharges listed below and you've got an excellent value for golf in Daytona.... more info.
LPGA International - Champions ~ 8.18 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Located in Daytona Beach, LPGA International is an easy hour drive northeast of Orlando, located just off all major roads. The original course -- the Champions -- was chosen by Golf Magazine as one of the nation's "Top 10 Courses to Play." Home of the LPGA and former host of the LPGA Tour's Titleholder's Championship, this Rees Jones design is challenging, picturesque and certainly memorable. Featured are elevated tees and greens, dramatically rolling fairways that are bordered by large mounding and water bordering on 10 holes - always in meticulous playing condition. A first-class dri... more info.
LPGA International - Legends ~ 8.18 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 1998, the Legends is the newer of the two courses at LPGA International and a great compliment to its sister course, The Champions. The spectacular layout offers beautiful magnolia and heavily pinetree-lined fairways. Distinctly different from the Champions, the Legends compliments the links-style of its sister course and requires different strategies on each hole. Water borders on just eight holes, where nature abounds and no homes can be found! A wonderful Mediterranean style clubhouse complete with locker rooms, bar and grill and banquet room ... more info.
Halifax Plantation Golf Club ~ 17.97 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Bill Amick designed this semi-private course, which is nestled among towering pines, century-old oaks, and natural vegetation. Water comes into play on only two holes, but the layout is still one of the most picturesque and challenging in the area. A beautiful, spacious clubhouse completes this outstanding golf facility. Halifax Plantation is located 15 minutes north of Daytona in Ormond Beach.... more info.
Victoria Hills Golf Club ~ 22.71 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Open since December 2001, Victoria Hills preserves the natural flow of the environment in a unique Florida golf setting. The Ron Garl design features many characteristics reminiscent of the Pine Barrens course at World Woods including sandy waste bunkers; generous fairways framed by mature oak and pine hammocks; the sandy shores of pristine lakes (water on just 4 holes); and elevated tough-to-hit greens. Also featured is their new Carolina-style Victorian clubhouse and tavern for those who wish to experience a little "apres-tee!" Guaranteed to provide a rewarding golf experience for players o... more info.
World Golf Village - Slammer & Squire ~ 61.41 miles (Not Driving Distance)
The World Golf Village is considered the most ambitious golf project in the history of the game. The first course, The Slammer and The Squire, was designed by architect Bobby Weed and named for golf legends Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. Golfers of all levels are provided a challenge, yet five sets of tees allow the player to choose a length to meet his or her ability. If the ambiance of the World Golf Village is not enough, the service-oriented approach of the course will impress all visitors.... more info.
